For the third time, Makhach decided not to invest, although there were offers. On January 15, 2017 he registered a sole proprietorship with VAT taxes of 6 % and opened a shop in Moscow.

Bespoke shoe sewing workshop
There are many brands on the market that offer quality shoes for every taste. There are also numerous purchasing groups and online shops that deliver to different regions of the country. Nevertheless, shoe tailoring is still a hot topic. Unique models that are handmade according to individual measurements are a promising trend that is gradually winning over more and more customers worldwide.
Business highlights
In order to be able to offer high-quality and sought-after products, one must have a certain know-how and be constantly on the lookout for new products and fashion trends.
Shoes are a diverse product. Therefore, it is important to decide on a specialization before starting your own brand. Women's, children's or men's shoes? Luxurious leather shoes or affordable youth shoes? Or maybe you want to make a name for yourself with orthopedic shoes? Already in the planning phase of your project, consider the direction in which you want to develop.
When you decide on a niche, research the competition, the level of market saturation and create your own unique offering. Also, you need to familiarize yourself with the technology and materials, and come up with a plan for marketing the goods. Nowadays it is no longer necessary to open your own store that looks like many others. It is also difficult to compete with Chinese-made products.
It's better to develop a strategy that allows you to offer exclusivity and quality to attract your first customers who will recommend the products to their friends.
Bespoke shoes - handmade shoes!
Manual work enjoys a high status in many industries. And it's not just the exclusivity of the property that he ultimately gives his customers. The personal approach will probably appeal to many, because when else, on what occasion, is a person given so much time and attention?
When sewing custom shoes, another nuance comes into play. Unlike sewing shoes in a factory, where each worker is responsible for only one detail, in a studio, sewing is done by a master from start to finish.
In this way, it is always easier for a professional to correct errors that may occur during the manufacture of a shoe. This means you end up with a perfect, lifelike fit.
Indian
With Indever's bespoke service, any pair can be tailored to your needs, whether they're brogues, monks, oxfords, sneakers or chelseas. The shoes are sewn from French calf leather using Goodyear Welt 360 technology, which provides greater strength and durability. This construction makes it possible, among other things, to replace the sole when it wears out.
The choice of special effects is limited only by the customer's imagination - a wide range is available, as well as four types of additional coloring.
When ordering a pair, expect a price of 30-35 thousand RUB.

Corporate identity is a way of maintaining a company's image, a tool to gain identity and recognition through the production of representative accessories. Custom branded company slippers can be such a useful object of curiosity. They are suitable for use as:
- as an advertising medium;
- Part of staff uniforms;
- a stylish gift for employees or business partners;
- an attribute of quality customer service, etc.
manufacturing
To design a new pair, the shoe is covered with paper and a model is drawn on it. The paper model is used to make molds - blanks - that are used to cut out the leather. The leather is stitched together - creating a stitched piece of leather with holes for the laces.
The sewn piece is shaped, soles are attached, dyed, shined, impregnated and packaged.
To negotiate the supply of leather, Makhach established contacts with foreign factories and communicated with them through an interpreter. But now the leather is sourced from a supplier in Moscow who imports the raw materials from those factories. It's more cost-effective this way.
Ordering from a foreign factory costs the same as ordering from a Moscow middleman, but the middleman gets the leather into production faster.
Dyed leather is imported from Italy, exclusively dyed leather from France and England. The soles are handmade in Moscow in a small factory.
The material for the shoes is bought weekly: they pick up the orders on Wednesday and write to the supplier on Thursday. The order arrives within two days. The purchase of raw materials costs 617,760 rubles per month.
When the order goes into production, the customer is informed of the process via SMS. A pair can be made in two to three weeks.
team
Today the Makhach team consists of 10 shoemakers, 14 people in the sales department and 2 managers – administrative and technical. The first is responsible for human resources, the second for production.
The managers initially work in the workshop. You will complete a one-week internship and a one-month probationary period in the workshop. To get into a managerial position you have to be good at sales: if you are a good salesman, you will also work in a higher position. At Mahacha, there's a girl who used to work in a call center, then ran it, and eventually became the director of marketing.
The guys have their own technique for hiring managers: they do performance tests and personality analysis and ask them to solve various business problems.
Sellers and craftsmen are not subjected to such a complex selection process. The interviews with the sellers are held in person, while the knowledge of the craftsmen is tested on site - you can see how a person makes shoes from day one.
Managers receive a percentage of the company's profit margin - revenue minus direct costs.
Peculiarities in design
In today's market there are many models of shoes that differ in material and design. Before delving into the individual steps involved in the production of leather or suede products, it is important to understand the construction, the components and their differences.
Components that make up the upper of a shoe:
- Sock – the part that covers the toe area of the foot, protects the foot from mechanical damage and is most often in contact with the outside world.
- Sock - the part that covers the back of the foot. It is constantly bent when walking and therefore deforms first.
- Ankle shoes cover the lower part of the shin and ankle. This part is practically insensitive to external influences during use.
- Eyelets - the place where the laces and cables attach.
- Cuff - the part that closes the heel part of the foot.
- Tongue – the part attached to the bottom of the shoe that fixes the foot and prevents dust, dirt and small elements from getting inside.
- Insole – a layer of soft and comfortable leather (or other material) that is in direct contact with the foot, cushioning walking and eliminating discomfort even when running.
The lower part of the shoe consists of the following elements:
- The sole is the most important part of the outsole, which not only decides the walking comfort but also the durability of the product. It protects the foot from unpleasant contact with the ground and reduces the mechanical effects when jumping, running and walking.
- The heel counter is the part that lifts the heel of the foot. It can come in different shapes and sizes, all depending on the model, seasonal design.
- Heel Pad - attached to the surface of the heel to protect it from abrasion.
- Rim - a detail responsible for fastening the bottom of the shoe.
- Protective inserts - elements made of cotton fabric and polyurethane that prevent chafing and blisters on the heel.
- Padding – material that provides breathability, warmth, ventilation, protection from seasonal weather conditions.
- Insole – the part that is located between the sole and the base of the insole and provides the necessary rigidity and flexibility.
materials and tools
Before making shoes yourself, it is important to choose the right material and get the right tools. Products for adults or children are most often made of leather, suede and fabric. Shoes made of natural leather are popular because they are durable, practical and hard-wearing, and there is less chance of foot abrasions. Sneakers, boots, boots, trainers, sneakers and flip-flops are made from this material.
Suede is a comfortable, soft and flexible material used to make shoes for both adults and children. It has no top layer, is labor intensive to manufacture and therefore quite expensive. Fabric - used for sewing summer shoes, children's shoes, sneakers, and also slippers. This material is very soft, delicate and pleasant to the touch. In such shoes, the foot is always breathable, receiving the necessary ventilation, comfort and warmth.
Textiles are environmentally friendly, which is why they are most often used for children's shoes.
When making the sole with our own hands, we use leather:
- Leather - it is very resistant, durable, protects the foot from external damage and allows it to breathe. Leather soles are as easy to make with your own hands as any other material.
- Rubber – an abrasion-resistant material, resistant to frost, temperature changes and has thermoplastic properties. It is distinguished by its strength, practicality and durability. The only drawback is the high marking of such soles.
- PVC is an inexpensive material that has good abrasion resistance and can be colored. It is used for winter shoes. The downside is that it's too heavy.
- TPE - made from thermoplastic rubber, has good abrasion resistance and does not slip on wet surfaces. Disadvantage - it is not possible to get a clear and smooth contour.
- Polyurethane - has low thermal conductivity, is soft, light and can be used for all seasonal models. Easy to fix. This material is widely used in the shoe industry. The disadvantage is that it is perishable and wears out quickly.
