• Presence of curvature of more than 40 degrees and significant structural changes of the vertebrae in patients in the phase of completed bone growth (radiological Risser test via IV), as a means of partial correction of scoliotic deformity or in preparation for surgical correction.
• In the postoperative period as a complementary therapy.
• For congenital spinal and thoracic deformities in children and adolescents.
• In pathological hyperkyphosis in children and adults (Scheuermann-Mau disease, etc.).
• For compression fractures in children and adults.

Instructions for use

The corset is worn standing; The straps should be put on and adjusted in the supine position. A cotton T-shirt without seams should be worn under the corset; thermal underwear can also be used.

There are three phases in corset therapy:

• Pre-correction period (first 3 to 6 months) – the wearing time of the corset should be 22-23 hours per day.
• Maintenance phase of correction – wearing time should be 16-22 hours per day.
• Corset withdrawal time – gradual reduction during the day, using the corset at night until complete withdrawal.

The total length of time the corset must be worn is determined by the doctor. In any case, the corset is worn until bone growth is complete (Risser 5 test).

Remember: if you don't put the brace on sooner, the deformity will not only return, but will get much worse!
