Hello, are you planning to come to Kazakhstan? How much does foot knot and bone surgery cost?
Hello, if you have a few minutes, can you answer my question? I had a bump in my shinbone 7 weeks ago, just below the knee joint on the front. X-rays show intact bone. MRI result: meniscus damage 2. Anterior cruciate ligament damage – the ligament is moderately undersized, the signal from the ligament is inconsistent due to swelling. Anterior Cruciate Ligament Injury – the ligament is angulated, moderately torn and tortuous, with evidence of a rupture of some fibers, the ligament signal is heterogeneous due to swelling. The lateral collateral ligament is partially damaged - the ligament is unraveled and swollen. The other tapes are 'unchanged'. An examination was carried out by a traumatologist, a puncture of the joint was made (there was 60 ml of blood) and according to the results of the MRI, a bandage was applied and a compression bandage was applied around the entire joint (including the kneecap) - a bandage, that is, they bandaged the joint tightly to keep blood from pooling in the joint. So I lay there with the compression bandage for three weeks. After the bandage was removed, a contracture formed, which I am now curing (it's very easy). Now when I compare the healthy and the injured knee it seems like the kneecap on the injured leg has 'sunk' a bit into the joint (I assume because the bandage was in place for 3 weeks). And when I do the drawer test myself, I can see that the shin is 2-3mm out of plumb. Also, when you bend the leg 90 degrees and tighten the quadriceps, you'll notice a slight inward displacement of the shinbone towards the knee (and when you fully relax the leg muscles, the shinbone moves outward again) - the same 2-3mm. That is, when the 4 lactabar muscles contract, you will notice a slight inward displacement of the tibia. This was not visible before the Lacetabular application (or I didn't notice it because I didn't fully understand the nature of the knee problem). The muscles in the injured leg atrophied about 20 % while the bandage was in place. Now my questions are: 1 question: could this instability of the knee have been caused by having a compression bandage on the joint for 3 weeks which was also pressing on the kneecap and the kneecap went deep into the joint (it protrudes less than the kneecap on a healthy leg) - so during these 3 weeks by pushing the kneecap into the joint - the ligaments were slightly stretched and now the instability appeared? So there was no instability in the knee at the time of the injury, but after 3 weeks of constant compression of the kneecap with a bandage - did the instability appear? The *traumatologist has not commented on this situation, he says to just keep working on the knee and strengthening the muscles. 2-Q: And in your experience, is it possible to completely eliminate this instability without surgery? I hope I have succeeded in describing the situation clearly and concisely. Thank you!

Good day!
When it comes to technically complex cases, he operates, 'simple' cases are operated on by the ward staff.
Good afternoon Levon Gagikovich, please advise me, I am very interested in some questions about the operation, I plan to get back to you as soon as possible! At first I wanted to do it myself, but now the orthopedist strongly recommends surgery. I saw that you are both in Moscow and in Yerevan, could you suggest a way to register and find out where it will be more convenient. I am also interested in the rehabilitation, the approximate prices, the duration of the preparation and the complexity of the operation…. How long will you have to walk, drive, etc…. If you offer a paid online consultation, I would be very grateful for a conversation, I just have a lot of questions and it is not very convenient to get to Moscow(( I am attaching photos and x-rays, I really hope for an answer, thanks in advance !
When is an online consultation with an orthopedist or trauma surgeon necessary?
One of the benefits of having an online consultation with an orthopedic or trauma surgeon is that you can speak to the doctor from the comfort of your own home via video link, using the results of a digital X-ray or CT scan. Based on the results, the orthopedist can make a diagnosis and suggest the best course of treatment for conditions such as
- osteoarthritis, including knee and hip joints;
- Consequences of broken bones, such as arthrosis, incorrect joints and shortening of the limbs;
- congenital diseases associated with short stature;
- curvature of the spine;
- habitual joint dislocations;
- Injuries to the knee meniscus, ligaments and tendons;
- flat feet and others.
Online consultation with a pediatric orthopedist is necessary for congenital malformations of the hip and other joints, clubfoot, strabismus, cerebral palsy, underdevelopment of a limb bone and more.
Modern treatment tactics
Modern traumatology in Israel is based on minimally traumatic surgical interventions that allow rapid restoration of limb function. The rehabilitation period is kept as short as possible and the patient then returns to normal life. In most cases, treatment in Israel is preferable to multiple traumatic surgeries at the same site and a long recovery period afterwards.
A video response from an orthopedic surgeon will help not only to clarify the diagnosis, but also to determine the most effective method of getting rid of the disease.
The pediatric orthopaedist advises the parents of the little patient in detail about the diagnosis and treatment in an online telephone session and explains the consequences of the operation and the special features of the further monitoring of the child, which can also take place via regular video conferences.
An online consultation with an orthopedic trauma surgeon is essential for patients who need a joint or limb replacement. The latest endoprosthesis technology is used in Israeli clinics to restore normal walking and other functions.
What does an orthopedic trauma surgeon treat?

Our trauma operating room is equipped with an orthopedic X-ray table, a digital C-arm and strength machines from Zimmer, whose motto is 'Leaving pain behind'. For the patient, this means minimal trauma and blood loss, the ability to perform the surgery (in some cases) under local anesthesia, and a relatively short recovery time.
With the operation, we give the patient back his full life, give him the opportunity to do the things he loves, eliminate pain and restore mobility in a short time.
If you need a surgical procedure on the musculoskeletal system, come to our clinic. Sick leave is granted for the entire duration of treatment.

What a visit to the doctor looks like
When treating the patient, the doctor takes a detailed clinical picture.
He listens to the complaints and provides the necessary explanations (duration of the complaints, previous injuries, previous illnesses, congenital anomalies of the musculoskeletal system).
The traumatologist examines the patient for visible abnormalities of the musculoskeletal system. During the exam, the doctor may ask you to do a simple physical test if it helps to more objectively assess your ability to function.
A paid visit (orthopaedist/traumatologist in St. Petersburg) involves the appointment of additional diagnostics necessary to clarify the diagnosis.
What diseases are treated by an orthopedic traumatologist?
A visit to an orthopedic traumatologist can diagnose the following conditions in adults:
- Spinal diseases: scoliosis, osteochondrosis, arthrosis and stenosis of various parts, spondylitis, radiculopathy, spondylarthrosis, dislocations, hernias, protuberances, lumbago, deformities, etc.
- Joint diseases: arthritis and periarthritis, osteoarthritis, rheumatism, synovitis, arthritis, enthesopathy, contractures, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.
- Musculoskeletal disorders: osteoporosis, foot deformities (varus, valgus, flatfoot, clubfoot), gout, etc.
The pediatric orthopedist notes the presence of abnormalities such as muscle strains in newborns, torticollis, hip dysplasia (dislocations), foot deformities, scoliosis and kyphosis.
In addition, the orthopedist treats injuries to the musculoskeletal system and their consequences (fractures, dislocations and subluxations).
Consultation of an orthopedic trauma surgeon online ₽1,200 ₽600.
If desired, a remote consultation with a trauma surgeon is possible. In the process, you will receive an initial opinion from a specialist, but you will have to attend a personal appointment to get an accurate diagnosis and, if necessary, to undergo an instrumental diagnosis.

Femoral nerve injury
This disease is usually the result of Osteochondrosis in the lumbar region.It is characterized by hamstring pain, spondylosis (especially in children) and spinal tumors. There is pain on palpation along the femoral nerve. Positive Symptoms of nerve tension: Pain along the front surface of the thigh during flexion of the leg in the knee joint when the patient is lying on his stomach; quadriceps strength is reduced, knee reflex is reduced or absent, hypoesthesia in the region of innervation of the femoral nerve.
Pain syndrome originating from the femoral nerve must be distinguished from pain syndrome arising from inflammation of the iliopsoas muscle (psoitis) and associated with flexion contracture of the hip. Very often pain in the left leg is associated with Very often, pain in the left leg is associated with a joint disease. The pain feels like a 'twisting' of the leg. The pain worsens when the weather changes. In the more severe stages of joint disease, the pain can be persistent and sometimes even excruciating. This is particularly the case with gout. pain in the knee joint can be an indication of cartilage destruction in this joint. However, only an experienced specialist can make an accurate diagnosis and prescribe medication.
Diseases of the peripheral nerves can also cause left leg pain. Neuralgia is a painful episode and runs along nerve fibers. There is little or no pain between attacks, and the attack may last from a few seconds to a few minutes.
The most intense pain in the left leg is caused by myositis. myositis – is a fairly serious condition that needs to be treated under constant medical supervision.
Pain in the left leg can be caused by a bone infection, e.g. B. osteomyelitis. In this case, the pain is acute and long-lasting. In this case, the bones themselves are the cause of the pain.
prevention and treatment
To prevent pain in the left leg, several rules should be observed. For example, if you have vascular problems, you should:
- limit high-fat and high-cholesterol foods in the diet;
- reduce excess weight;
- regularly perform special exercises to prevent the development of varicose veins.
Avoid standing or sitting for long periods. If you are sitting or standing, you should take frequent breaks and change positions. It is worth seeing a doctor if the severe pain in the legs lasts up to three days or if the feet feel numb and cold:
- nausea, coldness and weakness in the legs;
- The pain radiates to the thigh and lower leg;
- The skin turns blue and swells;
- Severe swelling from the injury.
If you have back or joint problems, you should treat them quickly and follow your doctor's advice. At problems with the spine Regular massages are helpful for back problems and frequent pain in the right leg. Regular massages are also helpful Regular abdominal massage classes help relieve tension in the lower back and reduce the incidence of referred pain in general.
