You can book a ship in the evening: Sunday to Thursday from 4 hours, Friday and Saturday from 5 hours. If you want to rent a motor ship for less than 4 hours, inquire with the people in charge of the shipping company 'Teplohod'.

Usually this is the berth where the ship is moored or the nearest berth. Transfer to other berths may be subject to charges.

Boat transfers to the berths are paid, since all berths on the Moscow River belong to the Moscow City Tourist Board and are billed according to a tariff set by it. Departure from the quay where the ship is moored is usually free.

During the trip it is possible to stop at some quays (usually the departure quay) for a maximum of 30 minutes. The quays for stopping are selected in advance by the manager of our company in consultation with Deptrans from Moscow. Depending on the size of the ship, the cost of the berth varies - from 2,500 rubles to 5,000 rubles for one berth.

In order to book a ship, you need to contract with our organization and make an advance payment of 50 % to 100 % of the cost of the ship. The total amount for the event must be paid no later than 5-7 days before the event.

Perseus does not stop multiplying.

It turns out that there are much more effective Perseus sellers than the Gomel trade employees. They sell openly and argue their arguments.

Our reader Vladimir also bought a jar of salmon caviar not from speculators, but in the legal shop 'Your Choice' on the Igumensky Trakt. The point refers to TD Vostochny. The glass is very similar to that of the last series, but there are small differences. It was probably kneaded in the same basement near Smolensk. It cost 14.95 rubles. (in a shop in Gomel 15.19) for 140 g (as stated on the tin, in reality less). The tin was stamped with the word 'chum salmon' (Keta salmon) (the Gomel version was 'chinook salmon'). The manufacturer is our favorite OOO 'Persei' (the company with that name was dissolved in 2019). The production date is 09/30/2021.

We've all experienced this before and Vladimir missed the lectures.

– I didn’t know anything about this Persei at the time of purchase, - he says. – I thought it was good caviar because it was produced in Sakhalin'. And it was sold in a state-owned store.

The shopper says he only became aware of the list at home when he noticed a typo on the can. Without opening it, he looked for information about the manufacturer. That's when I came across the 'Legends of Perseus'. He questioned the quality of the goods and demanded a replacement or refund. Having received a refusal, Vladimir did not spit, as most people would have done, but went to principle. He left a note in the complaint book and sent a complaint to the trade organization. Of course, this is not about fifteen rubles - an interesting precedent has been set.

Before we go any further, it's worth remembering that the store specializes in confiscated goods, that's how well known it is. The fact that the goods were confiscated was also on the price tag of the store, which Vladimir photographed when he was about to return his purchase. At the same time, the price tag (not just the can) specifically said: ,Caviar'..

Does the seller have a duty to know about the counterfeit?

There is another interesting point in this story. It is well known that all food entering the legal market must be controlled by the relevant organizations. Corresponding regulations apply to these confiscated foodstuffs. The products of the fictional company Persea were also examined. Nothing suspicious was found.

That's also suspicious considering the fame of the mythological maker.

In response to the buyer's complaint, the seller explains how it works. There is a regulation on the procedure for the release, storage, appraisal and sale of property confiscated, detained or surrendered to the state. It states: 'The competent authority draws up a register of the confiscated and (or) seized property, in which the full name of the property and its characteristics are indicated. <. >The property seized, withheld or converted <. >according to the defined procedure, these goods are subjected to a quality and safety check, on the basis of which a corresponding expert opinion is drawn up'.

In the event of a positive result of the quality and safety check, the property will be handed over for sale.

The regulation also specifies what must appear on the price tag: in particular the words 'seized' and the name that appears on the handover certificate – this name cannot be changed.

Travel

Raised first in the house of the serial noble (a fisherman in another version) Diktys, Perseus was then sent by King Polydektos, brother of Diktys who had fallen in love with Danaë, to retrieve the head of the gorgon Medusa, a monster whose gaze turned people to stone.

Athena and Hermes helped Perseus. The nymphs gave him a cap and sandals [2] . Or Hermes gave him a helmet and sandals, and Hephaestus gave him a sickle of adamantium [3] . Or Hermes gave him a sword [4] . Perseus was a lover of Hermes and also received a helmet from Hades [5] . On his way to Gorgona he visited the Hyperboreans and brought a hecatomb with donkeys to Apollo.

On the advice of the gods, the hero first found the three prophetic old women, the sisters of Graia, who had one eye and one tooth out of three. Perseus treacherously stole their tooth and eye to return them in exchange for thalaria, winged sandals, a magic pouch and the invisible hat of Hades. Graias showed Perseus the way to the Gorgons. Hermes gave him a sharp, curved knife. Armed with this gift, Perseus made his way to the Gorgons. Soaring through the air on winged sandals, Perseus managed to cut off the head of the mortal Medusa, one of the three Gorgon sisters, as he gazed at her reflection on Athena's gleaming shield - for Medusa's gaze turned all living things to stone. Perseus hid himself from the sisters of Medusa with a magic cloak and put the trophy in his shoulder bag.

On the way home to Ethiopia, Perseus freed the king's daughter Andromeda, who had been given to the sea monster to be eaten, and took Andromeda as his wife, killing her fiancé. After killing the sea monster, he washed his blood in a basin in the city of Joppa, where the water turned red [7] .

Arriving in Seripus, Perseus found Danaë in the temple hiding from Polydectes' pursuit. Perseus turned Polydectes and his followers to stone by showing them the head of the gorgon Medusa, after which he made Diktys ruler of the island. According to the version, he turned all the inhabitants of Serif into stone, which was taken up by comedy writers, since the island of Serif was very rocky [8] .

Danaë and Perseus decided to visit Acrisius, but he would not let them in, remembering the prophecy. Many years later, one day at the games, Perseus accidentally threw a disc towards the spectators, Acrisios among them. The disc hit him, killing him. According to Sophocles, Perseus killed Acrisios with the disc from the third throw [9] .

The rule

Unwilling to rule after the accidental murder of his grandfather, Perseus ceded the Argosian throne to his kinsman and went to Tirynthos himself. He became king of Tirynthos, consolidated myth and Mycenae, and ceded the kingdom of Argos to Megapentus. He founded Mycenae 'which is known to all Hellenes'. [10] According to various versions, he founded Mycenae by taking the top (mykes) of the sword lost; or he found the mushroom (mykes) and drank water from it. [11] On Mount Apesantius near Nemea the first sacrifice was made to Zeus Apesantius. An underground spring of Perseus can be seen in the ruins of Mycenae. [12]

Andromeda[13] bore Perseus a daughter Gorgophone and six sons. The children Perseus, Alcaeus, Sphenel, Eleus, Mestor, Electrion and Gorgophon [14] (children Electrion, Alcaeus, Sphenel [15] in an abbreviated list), his son was also named Erythras. Persus, the eldest, was considered the progenitor of the Persians, Alkaeus was the father of Amphitryon, Sphenel the father of Eurystheus, Electrion the father of Alcmena.

Dionysus was at war with Perseus (see Ariadne), but later they were reconciled and there was a temple of Dionysus of Crete in Argos. [16] Perseus killed Praetus, but was himself killed by his son Megapenphus. [17]

Statues of heroes from Perseus to Hercules were located at Delphi. [18] At Athena's will, the hero became a constellation. [3] The myth of the Gorgon is depicted on the shield of Hercules. [19] According to the interpretation, Hermes was the patron of running in the gym, in which Perseus excelled. [20]

The actor in the tragedies Pratine and Perseus by Aristippus, unknown author Perseus, Andromeda by Sophocles (Fr. 126-129 Radt), Larissaeus (Fr. 374-382 Radt). Actius had the tragedy 'Perseids'.

Perseus the king.

Perseus' homecoming was not without 'adventures'. Polydectus, believing that he had gotten rid of his protector, seized Danaë, and she, in order not to fall out of favor, had to hide herself in the temple of Hera all the time and was not allowed to leave it day or night.

The son of Zeus learned the story on his way to the palace, so he didn't have to be too harsh and petrified not only the king in his pride, but his entire court as well. Then he returned to Argos with his wife and mother.

As so often, the hero's fame preceded him, and Acrisios, knowing the prophecy and fearing a just retribution, left his house without waiting for visitors. The throne automatically fell to Perseus as the sole heir, and there were no interested parties who wanted to mess with the owner of the Gorgon's head. Who would want to be turned to stone?

The hero's life was now smooth and steady. State affairs, banquets and festivals. Perseus himself took part in such a competition. He decided to surprise his people once more by throwing a bronze disc with tremendous force.

However, this time it didn't work as expected. Either it was a miss or the wind changed the trajectory of the bullet, but the disc drifted toward the stands and struck the head of an old, gray-haired man.

It was the old man Acrisius who had come secretly to admire his grandson. The prophecy was fulfilled, and the grief-stricken hero left his homeland and founded another polis, Mycenae.

From then on everything in his life changed abruptly. Not realizing the drunkenness, he went to war with Dionysus himself. Many of the Menads then took their lives goodbye, as did many of Perseus' followers....

And it is good that our hero returned the gifts to the gods earlier and gave the head of Medusa to Athena palladium (it still adorns her shield today), otherwise the god of wine himself could have got into trouble. But even so, the conflict exceeded the limits of reason, and only Zeus himself could calm him down. The half-brothers then shook hands, and Perseus even built a temple for Dionysus.

Perseus' reign

Perseus and Andromeda returned to the island of Serif, where Polydectus and his loyal jurors held a feast and Perseus' mother took refuge from violence in the temple. Perseus said he had fulfilled his promise and showed the head of Medusa, whereupon Polydectus and all his subjects were petrified.

Perseus: the son of the gods in mythology

Together with his mother and wife, Perseus returned to his homeland. When Danaë's father learned that his grandson was alive, he disappeared from sight. But the prophecy caught up with him where he hadn't expected it. During the athletics games, Perseus threw a discus that hit his grandfather Acrisius in the leg, and the latter died from the wound. The god Perseus was very upset about this and decided to swap kingdoms with his uncle Megapentes. Perseus himself went to Tirinthos, where he built the city of Mycenae and ruled there for many years.

The image of Perseus in art

Ancient Greece undoubtedly had a tremendous impact on the development of culture around the world. It manifests itself in different areas, be it in painting, sculpture or literature. Much attention is paid to each god, the image of Perseus is also found in various art forms.

One cannot say that Perseus is the god of anything (air, fire, water or any other natural phenomenon). He is depicted as a monster-slaying hero and was a demigod born of the god Zeus and the mortal woman Danaë.

It has been mentioned in art since ancient times. A painting by Rembrandt depicts his mother Danaë. Many works glorify Perseus' act of beating off the head of Medusa Gorgona, as seen in a painting by Rubens and Caravaggio.

The Atlantean sculpture of the Titan tells that Perseus, who like Hercules was the son of Zeus, once visited Atlanta. Themis prophesied that he would be killed by the son of Zeus, who mistook him for Perseus and did not receive him as a guest, but sharply pushed him away; so he showed him the head of Medusa and turned him into a stone statue.

The encounter with Andromeda and her rescue is also depicted in several paintings: the painter Rubens and G. Vasari created paintings dedicated to this event.
